Partial Quotients Division

Partial Quotients Division helps students learn and practice the partial quotients division method step by step. The app gives students a visual way to solve division problems by making a series of estimates, subtracting partial products, and adding the partial quotients together. The Partial Quotients Method: In the partial quotients method, students divide by making estimates that are easy for them to use. For example, in 992 ÷ 8, a student might first estimate 100, leaving 192. Then the student might estimate 20, leaving 32. Finally, 8 goes into 32 four times.
