Heavy Rain™: Chronicle 1 focuses on Madison Paige, prior to the events that change her life in Heavy Rain™. When Madison decides to explore the home of a shady character who is currently under investigation, it looks like she may have bitten off more than she can chew. The house is filled with dark secrets and as she snoops around, Madison may find herself in serious jeopardy, depending on your approach to the scene. The tension mounts as she soon realises she’s not alone in the house and the episode can end in several different ways – it all comes down to your decisions; one simple action could literally mean the difference between life and death. Chronicle 1 is an updated version of the original “Taxidermist” scenario that captured the imagination of the world’s gaming press when it was used to officially unveil Heavy Rain™ at the Gamescom exhibition in 2008.
